With a dynamic career spanning over two decades, Erika Denis has established herself as a formidable force in the television, film, and digital media industries. Her expertise bridges both private and public sectors, with her roles encompassing producer, line producer, international development executive, and audiovisual senior manager.

Erika's career has a strong international focus, with significant contributions across Africa, Europe, and Canada. She has cultivated a robust network involving broadcasters, platforms, accelerators, clusters, financiers, festivals, markets, producers, funding bodies, studios, talent, educational institutions, and government representatives.

In 2017, Erika took on the role of Head of Films, Media, and Music at the French Embassy and its cultural arm, the French Institute of South Africa (IFAS). Her mission was to foster creative industry projects that forge sustainable partnerships between South Africa and France, emphasizing innovation, training, storytelling, production, distribution, professional markets, and regulatory frameworks in animation, games, and series.

Currently, Erika is with Expertise France, part of the AFD group, serving as a Senior International Creative Industry Expert at the Tshimologong Innovation Hub. Her focus is on supporting and scaling the Digital Content Hub, leveraging her extensive experience to bolster digital content creation across the continent.
